Since setting up this practice he has carried out a variety of projects, predominantly for Local Councils. He has either carried out, or supervised, the construction of network models on network analysis, and the subsequent analysis of the reticulations for more than 30 Local Authority Water Supplies.

He has undertaken numerous datalogging projects and model calibration exercises for existing clients and external Consultants.  The latest technology is used in these projects.

Leak Detection and Unaccounted for Water Use studies have been carried out for a number of Local Authorities including Waipa District Council, Horowhenua District Council and MacKenzie District Council. These started from basic meter installation and division of reticulation into District Metering Areas, through to detection of leaks with corelators and noise loggers. Reports and recommendations were compiled.

Pressure management studies have been compiled for a number of clients identifying the possible service levels using both the modelling and datalogger expertise.

He has carried out Water Supply Review and Assessment projects for 9 supplies for the Ashburton District Council. This has involved a comprehensive study of each supply reticulation and sources, and preparation of Public Health Risk Management Plans.

Minor projects, for example, Peer Reviews of proposals and Feasibility Studies for water supply and public health related topics have also been undertaken.
